Community Advisory Council Meeting/Workshop
Proposed revisions to Rule 316 (Storage and Transfer of Gasoline)
Staff plan to present changes to Rules 102 (Definitions) and 316
(Storage and Transfer of Gasoline) to the Community Advisory Council
meeting/workshop. Public input will be solicited during this
function. The APCD plans to add two exemptions to Rule 316. These
exemptions will allow vehicle refueling without a Phase II vapor
recovery system provided:
1) the product dispensed is E85 (an ethanol-gasoline blend), or
2) the station is a non-retail gasoline dispensing facility
dedicated to refuel only motor vehicles equipped with onboard
refueling vapor recovery systems.
It is anticipated that the APCD Board will consider adoption of
the revised rules on January 15, 2009. For more information, contact
