Earth Day is officially April 22 every year; celebrations will be on different dates around Santa Barbara County. Information on 2011 events will be added here when it is available.  Information on 2009-2010 events appears below for reference.

VAFB Earth Day Celebration 2011 Vandenberg Air Force Base 11th Annual Earth Day Event Wednesday, April 20 10:00am to 3:00pm at Base Library (side lawn)
Exhibits, demonstrations, prizes/giveaways, educational material, games & MORE! French dip sandwiches and hand-cut fries ($7)
Open to staff and families with base passes.

The District participated, helping sponsor "Come to Earth Day Car Free and Win!"  the Green Shorts Film Festival, and Ride Free on MTD before noon on Earth Day Weekend.

Exhibits, Demonstrations, Educational Materials and Civil Engineering Advisory Council burger burn!  Open to staff and families with base passes.
