An emission reduction credit is earned by a company when it reduces air emissions beyond what is required by permits and rules. It is an asset that can be used by its owner or sold to companies that need emission offsets. Emission reduction credit amounts to be approved for Wm. Bolthouse Farms, Inc. are: Oxides of Nitrogen
15.686 tons per year Wm. Bolthouse Farms, Inc. plans to create these emission reduction credits by electrifying eight diesel powered irrigation pump engines at their ranches in the Cuyama area of Santa Barbara County. The District finds that the proposed emission reductions credits meet the requirements for approval pursuant to our Rules 804 and 806.
